Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) in Templeton, California, United States. Start date: 08/03/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range: $1,734–$1,789 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM). Assignment is at a Short Term Acute Care Hospital facility.

Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients in the emergency department; coordinate and manage patient care across the care team.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses, documenting accurately in the medical record and ensuring patient safety.
- Triage and stabilize acutely ill or injured patients; recognize signs of deterioration and respond to emergencies, including Code Blue scenarios.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other health professionals; maintain patient privacy and infection control standards; provide education to patients and families; assist with discharge planning.

Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure: Current RN license in the state of practice (California).
- Experience: One year of recent acute care RN experience.
- Certifications: BLS certification; ACLS certification; PALS certification within 6 months of hire or transfer.
- Licensure/Certifications: AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS and AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
- General: Ability to work in a fast-paced ER setting; strong teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking skills; commitment to patient privacy and safety.
