Payroll and Benefits Administrator

Process Payroll Runs: Calculate and distribute salaries, overtime, commissions, bonuses, and other pay accurately and on schedule Manage Deductions: Apply correct deductions for taxes, pensions, benefits, direct deposits, garnishmentsand execute payments tothepayroll vendors Maintain Payroll Records: Keep updated pay history, leave balances, tax documents, benefits, and employment changesinemployee electronic and physical files . Benefits Coordination :Processbenefitsenrollmentsand terminationsaccording to eligibilityand timing.Adviseemployeeson currentbenefitsofferings , FMLA, workers’ compensationpolicies. Ensure Compliance: Follow all payroll regulations to avoid penalties andmaintainlegal integrity Resolve Employee Queries: Address questions about paystubs, tax withholdings, leave payouts, PTObalancesand other payroll issues Support Auditsand Verifications: Provide documentationand statisticsfor audits verifications,DOL Coordinate with HR and Finance: Update payroll for new hires, terminations, promotions, benefitscontributionsand volunteer deductions Manage Payroll Systems: Operate, update, and troubleshoot payroll software while protecting employee data Assistin Compensation Planning: Provide payroll data for benchmarking, salary reviews, and workforce cost analysis Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accountingor related field, or 3-5years of relevant experience. Strong numerical and administrative skills,ability to pay attention to detail and perform tasks accurately,problem-solving skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Effective communication skills to interact withElected Officials, DepartmentHeads,employees, and vendors.
