Insomniac produces some of the most innovative, immersive music festivals and events in the world. Our events feature state‑of‑the‑art lighting, pyrotechnics, sound design, large‑scale art installations, theatrical performers and next‑generation special effects. Insomniac produces 10,000 concerts, club nights and festivals for seven million attendees annually across the globe, including the world’s largest dance music festival, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas. THE ROLE As Ticketing Manager, you will oversee ticketing operations, ensuring facilitation between the service center, marketing, group sales, sponsorship, partners and vendors. This position reports to the Ticketing Director and the Event Producer for box office operations. RESPONSIBILITIES Build and maintain ticketing pages from conception through settlement for all assigned events, including layaway plans and third‑party allocations. Partner with promoters to proactively suggest revenue‑driving opportunities. Supply daily ticket counts, buyer reports and upkeep information on internal tracking programs. Process comp orders for community partners, sponsors, and key groups as needed. Submit design tickets and purchase ticket inventory (wristbands, ancillary add‑ons). Manage on‑site box office operations, hire and manage staff, and set up and tear down in all weather conditions. Create and adhere to operational budgets, forecast expenses and communicate budget changes to the producer team. Ensure compliance with all company policies and audit programs to protect cash and credentials from loss. Other duties as assigned. Frequent travel (economy). QUALIFICATIONS Advanced knowledge of ticketing industry and platforms (Front Gate, Ticketmaster, TicketWeb, Universe, Eventbrite). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, COUNTIF, PivotTables, data manipulation). 3+ years’ experience in large‑scale festival production and operations. Customer service experience in large‑ticketed events. Excellent organization, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to multitask and handle last‑minute changes calmly. Four‑year college degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required. Motivated with an “everything is possible” attitude. Active problem solver with a sense of urgency for projects. This role is remote and will require on‑site presence at various locations. WORK ENVIRONMENT Endure loud noise levels & busy environments. Lifting up to 50 lbs (chairs, tables, etc.). Work in varied temperature climates. Travel during holidays, evenings, and weekends as required.
