Senior Contracts Specialist

Job Description Senior Contracts Specialist will manage a variety of complex contracts and subcontracts, collaborate with leadership, business development, finance, and program management to ensure contractual compliance, minimize risk, and support company growth. Key Responsibilities Manage the administration of a variety of contract types, including commercial, public sector, international, and federal government contracts from proposal support through contract closeout. Review and administer prime contracts and related contractual agreements. Support proposal development, contract negotiations, modifications, and customer communications. Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, company policies, and government regulations. Support DCAA, DCMA, and other government audits and reviews. Contribute to the development and improvement of contract management practices and tools. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Contracts Management, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field. 6-10 years of progressive government contracts management experience. Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, SBA, and federal contracting regulations. Experience with a variety of government contract types, including FFP, Cost‑Reimbursement, T&M, IDIQ, Phase III, GWAC, and GSA Schedule contracts. Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree. CPCM, CFCM, or similar professional certification. Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one. Experience supporting DoW, NASA, DOE, or other federal agencies. Huntsville‑area government contracting experience. Skills Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment. Ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product. Ability to build and sustain professional relationships. Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor. Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint is a plus. Why Join Us?
