Join a well-established, physician-led Emergency Medicine team at Saint Joseph Hospital, a respected 400-bed hospital located in the heart of Denver.

Saint Joseph Hospital is a high-acuity Level IV Trauma Center with approximately 45,987annual Emergency Department visits. The department is supported by Epic EMR, a dedicated Observation Unit, Fast Track, onsite laboratory and radiology services, and collaborative relationships with hospitalists and specialty consultants.

Emergency Department

Our physicians practice in a collaborative environment supported by experienced Advanced Practice Providers and dedicated nursing staff.

Coverage

• Physician Coverage: 45 hours daily

• APP Coverage: 24 total hours daily

• 12 hours in the ED and 12 hours in the CDU

Physician Schedule

Flexible scheduling with a variety of day, swing, and night shifts.

Day Shifts

• 6:00 AM–2:00 PM
• 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

Swing Shifts

• 2:00 PM–11:00 PM
• 5:00 PM–2:00 AM

Night Shift

• 10:00 PM–7:00 AM

W2 Compensation

• RVU Productivity Compensation Model
• 90% Productivity
• 10% Quality Service Performance (QSP)
• Average physician compensation: $240–250/hour
• Guaranteed hourly rate plus RVU productivity
• Night Shift Differential
• Business Expense Reimbursement Allowance (BERA)

Candidate Qualifications

• MD or DO
• ABEM or ABOEM Board Certified/Board Eligible
• ATLS required for Non-ABEM physicians
• Colorado medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA required
