Director of Branch OperationsSchedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM & Friday. 8:00AM - 6:00PMCompensation: Depending on ExperienceLead. Inspire. Grow.At TENCU, we're looking for an experienced, strategic leader to guide our branch network, elevate member experiences, and drive operational excellence across Middle Tennessee.As the Director of Branch Operations, you will lead branch teams and Teller Supervisors, develop future leaders, oversee branch performance, and partner with executive leadership to execute strategies that fuel growth, strengthen member relationships, and support our mission of improving lives through financial empowerment.If you're passionate about developing people, improving processes, and delivering exceptional customer service, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoLead High-Performing TeamsProvide leadership and direction to Teller Supervisors and branch teams across multiple locations.Coach, mentor, and develop emerging leaders within the organization.Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and exceptional member service.Drive Growth & Operational ExcellencePartner with executive leadership to develop and execute branch sales and service strategies.Monitor branch performance and identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and innovation.Lead operational improvement initiatives that support organizational objectives.Ensure Compliance & Risk ManagementMaintain compliance with applicable banking and credit union regulations.Oversee operational audits, security procedures, and internal controls.Ensure branches operate safely, efficiently, and according to policy.Strengthen Community ConnectionsRepresent TENCU in the community and build meaningful relationships that support membership growth.Promote the credit union's mission, values, and commitment to service.What You BringRequired Experience5-8 years of progressive experience in a banking or credit union environment.Minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience.Strong knowledge of branch operations, deposit services, and retail banking.Experience leading teams, coaching employees, and driving performance results.EducationAssociate degree required.Bachelor's degree preferred.Skills That Set You ApartStrategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication and relationship-building skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and member service excellence.Passion for developing people and creating positive workplace culture.Travel RequirementsThis position requires regular travel to TENCU branch locations throughout Middle Tennessee to support operations, conduct audits, and collaborate with teams.
