Job Summary
Are you an organized logistics professional eager to drive international trade operations? We are seeking a dedicated Shipping Operator to join our Dallas branch team. In this role, you will coordinate and execute international cargo shipments from origin to destination, serving as the primary liaison between clients, overseas agents, customs brokers, and carriers to ensure compliant, timely, and cost-effective operations.
Key Responsibilities1. Shipment Coordination & Booking

• Process and manage end-to-end import and export shipments via Ocean (FCL/LCL) and Air freight.
• Secure cargo space with ocean carriers and airlines according to client requirements and deadlines.
• Arrange inland transportation for cargo pick-up and final delivery to warehouses or consignees.

2. Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare and issue essential shipping documents, including Bills of Lading (HBL/MBL), Air Waybills (HAWB/MAWB), Manifests, and Delivery Orders.
• Review and verify commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin for accuracy.
• Ensure full compliance with international maritime laws, local customs regulations, and trade compliance standards.

3. Client & Vendor Communication

• Provide daily tracking and status updates to customers regarding their shipments.
• Coordinate closely with overseas offices and global agents to streamline cross-border logistics.
• Resolve operational issues, such as customs delays, cargo damage, or blank sailings, promptly and professionally.

4. Billing & Financial Administration

• Check and verify vendor invoices (carriers, truckers, warehouses) against agreed rates.
• Issue accurate invoices to clients and ensure timely closing of shipment files for accounting purposes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Language: Business proficiency in Japanese is must.
• Experience: Previous experience in freight forwarding, import/export operations, or logistics is preferred. But no experience in Logistics industry is also welcomed.
• Basic PC Skills: Basic PC skills are required. MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Key Traits: Strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, ability to multitask under deadlines, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
