Project expertise: commercial and industrialCorporate OfficeHealthcareHospitalityIndustrial Business ParksEducationSkills, Experience, Qualifications, If you have the right match for this opportunity, then make sure to apply today.Primary ResponsibilitiesEstimating and lead estimating group on design phase cost estimateAbility to read drawings, geo-tech reports and specificationsIdentify Utility conflicts and Bypass areasPerform quantity take-off of Pipe & Appurtenances/Concrete/Sitework, requiring quantity counts, linear quantity measurementAbility to formulate a unit price as neededSolicit Subcontractor/Supplier participation via phone and/or E-mailWrite RFI's to EngineersProficient in scope analysis, ability to estimate deficiencies as neededProject RFQ and RFP developmentEstablish project database for proposalCreate construction schedule for estimates in P6Coordinate and establish the project budget (GMP)Projects ranging from 10 Million to 80 Million, Hard Deadlines, and must be able to multi-task efficientlyDeveloping and maintaining long term beneficial relationships with key vendors and subcontractorsParticipate in pre and post construction review.Preferences/Qualifications xhyhwjd 5-10 years estimating and PreCon experiencePrevious experience with Hard Bid Municipal Commercial ProjectsAbility to understand construction terminologyStrong communication and organizational skills Computer proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and knowledge of MC2 preferredValid Driver License and ability to commute to job site
