In this vital role, you will coordinate client interactions, manage appointment scheduling, and support the smooth operation of our veterinary practice; ensuring that pets receive the care they need and their owners feel supported and informed. You're not just answering phones; you're managing a fast paced flow of patients, coordinating seamlessly with medical staff, and delivering exceptional customer service at every interaction. The ideal candidate is someone who has a positive attitude, enjoys multitasking independently, and is able to work in a time sensitive, fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesGreet clients warmly, answer inquiries, and schedule appointments with enthusiasm and professionalismManage veterinary software systems to update patient records, process appointments, and handle billing proceduresCommunicate effectively with clients about pet care instructions, vaccination schedules, and follow-up appointmentsMaintain cleanliness and organization of front desk area, including filing documents and managing veterinary administrative support tasksAbility to multi-task in a multi-doctor practiceContribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with good communications to colleagues on pet careQualifications/RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in a customer service role (veterinary experience preferred but not required)Excellent communication skills both via phone and in person; bilingual ability is a plus for serving diverse clients.Prior experience using multi-line phone systems and handling front desk responsibilities effectively.Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain professionalism under pressure.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.Benefits & Perks:Competitive hourly wage based on experience.Generous employee pet care discounts.Health, dental, and vision insurance (for full-time staff).401kEAP (Employee Assistance Program)Paid Time Off (PTO) and holiday pay.Uniform allowanceCompensation:Base Hourly Rate of $19-25 DOEThis position offers an exciting opportunity to combine exceptional customer service skills with a passion for animal care.
