Circuit Card AssemblerWe are seeking several Circuit Card Assemblers (CCA) responsible for producing quality work to prescribed standards, focusing on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget. Candidates should be prepared to adhere to safety procedures, including those governing the handling of materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment.ResponsibilitiesFollow written work instructions and maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures.Properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Participate in LEAN Events, 'Six S' activities, and action teams.Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.Perform entry-level assembly functions, including prep, mechanical, harness, cable, printed circuit board sub-assemblies, spray application, and inspection.Perform simple assemblies and hardware installation, including screws, washers, nuts, and have a basic understanding of build documentation.Perform pull-test, verify tooling, use torque tools, and interpret & assemble multiple units in depth with basic troubleshooting.Access production tools such as routers, parts lists, work instructions, and perform wire prep, auto bond, and sleeving.Essential SkillsExperience with assembly, circuit board, circuit board assembly, solder, electronic assembly, mechanical, blueprint reading, and hand tools.Ability to perform circuit board repair, circuit assembly, panel board assembling, soldering, cable assembly, and wire harness.Understanding of quality control, mechanical assembly, crimping, and wiring.Experience in assembling electronic components for aircraft and submarines, and reading of blueprints and wire tabulation.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Johnstown, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
