Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Baton Rouge, LA. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in insurance defense and a passion for managing complex legal matters. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, handling high-stakes cases and representing a diverse client base. Duties Manage a diverse caseload of insurance defense matters, including personal injury, property damage, and liability claims. Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and depositions. Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients. Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting insurance defense. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice in Louisiana and in good standing with the State Bar. 2-3 years of experience in casualty litigation. Strong analytical, legal research, and writing skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proven track record of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines. Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Louisiana. Skills Strong analytical and legal research skills. Excellent writing and communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. High level of professionalism and integrity.
