Projects in the Raleigh area are primarily large-scale pharmaceutical/life science, manufacturing, and light industrial projects. Job Description Preconstruction Planning & Coordination: Oversee and manage all aspects of the preconstruction phase, from conceptual budgeting to final pricing. Estimating & Cost Analysis: Develop accurate cost estimates, value engineering solutions, and risk assessments for projects. Bid & Procurement Strategy: Lead subcontractor and supplier selection, ensuring competitive pricing and high-quality work. Client & Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to align project goals and expectations. Project Scheduling: Develop preliminary project schedules and ensure alignment with construction timelines. Value Engineering & Feasibility Analysis: Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend efficient construction methods. Risk Management: Assess potential project risks and provide mitigation strategies before construction begins. Proposal Development: Prepare detailed preconstruction proposals, including scope of work, pricing, and schedules for client presentations.
