Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Instructional Assistant-Substitute, supporting students and educators in a vibrant school environment near Santa Ana, CA. This position runs from August 25, 2026, through June 11, 2027, and offers a pay rate of $20 per hour. As classrooms evolve, substitutes demonstrating dedication and skill will be moved into full-time roles as they become available, providing excellent growth potential.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience as a Paraprofessional or Instructional Assistant preferred
- Confidence managing small groups or providing one-on-one assistance
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to various classroom settings and changing schedules
- Professional and positive attitude with a genuine passion for student success
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in daily classroom activities and lesson execution
- Provide direct support to students with instructional tasks and assignments
- Help monitor classrooms to maintain a productive, supportive learning atmosphere
- Adapt quickly to different subject areas and grade levels as needed
- Foster positive, respectful relationships with students and staff
- Carry out duties such as supervising students during breaks or transitions
