Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Recoverease Therapy Services, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Directing physical therapy treatment aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and restoring muscle function based on individualized care plans.
• Overseeing the Physical Therapy Assistants to guarantee proper implementation of therapeutic plans, ensuring every client receives quality care.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of clients' functional abilities through diagnostic testing, and making informed recommendations to enhance their home environments and increase independence.
• Administering a range of therapeutic exercises, along with other modalities like traction and massage, to support clients' rehabilitation goals.
• Developing and maintaining accurate clinical records, including OASIS assessments, care plans, and progress notes, to document each client's treatment journey.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team in case conferences to evaluate and adjust comprehensive treatment strategies, ensuring alignment with the clients' evolving needs.
• Providing education and support to clients and their families regarding physical therapy techniques and the use of assistive devices.
• Regularly reviewing and modifying care plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback from clients and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
