Our employees are exceptional, giving us a competitive advantage by innovating solutions with a strong sense of mission and integrity./ppOne of our clients in Washington Navy Yard, DC, needs a Logistics Management Specialist for a contract position./ppiQuasar is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Logistics Management Specialist providing logistics, acquisition, and program support to the In-Service Attack Submarines Program Office (PMS 392) under Program Executive Office Submarines (PEO SSN) at the Washington Navy Yard./ppThe Logistics Management Specialist will support the maintenance, sustainment, and modernization of U.S. Navy fast attack submarines (SSN 688I, SSN 21, and SSN 774 classes). This role focuses on logistics coordination, contract support, configuration management, and program execution tracking to ensure alignment with NAVSEA, Team Submarine, and lifecycle sustainment objectives./ppPrimary Responsibilities:/pulliConduct detailed analytical reviews of contractual and programming documentation to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and areas requiring corrective action./liliEstablish, maintain, and manage centralized data repositories to support version control, traceability, and accessibility of program documentation./liliTrack and manage contract files, including task orders, modifications, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), contractor deliverables, meeting minutes, and technical documentation./liliPerform validation and reconciliation of CDRLs and associated deliverables to ensure compliance with contract requirements./liliSupport contract oversight activities, including development of procurement requests, monitoring of deliverables, and coordination with Contracting Officers and Contracting Officers Representatives (CORs)./liliProcess and manage COR change requests and support administrative and contractual updates./liliFacilitate the Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) process in coordination with In-Service Engineering Agents (ISEA), configuration management teams, and technical authorities./liliAggregate, analyze, and disseminate logistics and program data to key stakeholders to support decision-making./liliCoordinate and resolve material and logistics requests by interfacing with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and program management organizations./liliSupport program reviews and meetings, including preparation of materials, documentation of meeting minutes, and tracking of action items./liliMaintain and manage COR files, ensuring accurate documentation, traceability, and compliance with NAVSEA and acquisition requirements./liliTrack, manage, and close out action items generated from program meetings and leadership tasking./liliCapture and formalize key program decisions and action items to ensure alignment across stakeholders./liliSupport logistics planning and sustainment efforts for submarine maintenance and modernization programs./liliPerform additional logistics, acquisition, and program support duties as assigned./li/ulpRequired Qualifications:/pulliMinimum of four (4) years of experience providing logistics, acquisition, or sustainment support to DoD or U.S. Navy programs./liliDemonstrated knowledge of U.S. Navy logistics procedures, sustainment processes, and acquisition support functions./liliExperience supporting contract management activities, including CDRLs, contract deliverables, and documentation tracking./liliExperience working with data management systems and centralized repositories./liliStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills./liliProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)./li/ulpPreferred education and experience:/pulliBachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field./liliExperience supporting NAVSEA, Team Submarine, or submarine sustainment programs./liliFamiliarity with government contracting processes, including CDRLs, ECPs, and COR responsibilities./liliExperience supporting submarine maintenance, modernization, or lifecycle sustainment programs./liliExperience working in fast-paced acquisition or program office
