DevOps Developer (Lead or Senior)Company:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Space, Intelligence and Weapon Systems (SI&WS), Ground and Mission Systems Engineering (GMSE) is looking for a Lead or Senior DevOps Developer (Level 4 or 5) to join our team in Seal Beach or El Segundo, California. The SI&WS GMSE division creates the next generation products and services for the BDS business unit. We work with both commercial and proprietary customers in the development of the next-generation technologies in space. Our team focuses on rapid prototyping to demonstrate a host of mission-focused technologies for a variety of customers. Our group works all facets of engineering from technology investment, concept development, proposal writing, requirements, design, build, integration, test, and demonstration of products in their relevant environments.The DevOps Developer will join a high-performing team that is immersed in high intensity development projects. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work proprietary programs for U.S. government customers who are responsible for exciting advanced technology national security missions.Position Responsibilities: Apply modern DevOps practices (including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, containerized deployments, and infrastructure as code) to streamline integration and test activitiesStand up, configure, and maintain secure test environments leveraging cloud-native and virtualized resourcesDrive continuous improvement of integration and test processes, incorporating automation, metrics, and lessons learned to increase efficiency and reliabilityAutomate, develop, monitor, improve, and troubleshoot across engineering development, tooling, testing, integration, deployment, configuration processes, and security controlsReview, develop, document, and maintain system requirements and traceabilityInterface with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external customersThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.
