This role is designed to be fully remote, offering flexible work arrangements to help you maintain a healthy work-life balance while meeting the needs of your patients. You will conduct therapy sessions through secure video conferencing platforms, ensuring confidentiality and comfort for those seeking support. Your schedule will typically be Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history and specific mental health needs.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, focusing on fostering resilience and coping mechanisms.

• Utilize established therapeutic methodologies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective interventions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through the healing process, assisting them in processing trauma, and promoting emotional well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive care plan that addresses the holistic needs of each patient.

• Respond to crisis situations applying trauma-informed approaches during emergencies related to trauma.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and community resources available for additional support.
\n
• Ensure accurate and confidential record-keeping consistent with legal and ethical guidelines, using electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities centered on trauma-informed care practices.

• Keep abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma treatment, integrating new knowledge into therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus primarily on individuals who have lived through traumatic experiences, ranging from single-incident trauma to prolonged exposure to distressing situations. You'll engage with clients who may be struggling with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and dissociative disorders, employing a strengths-based and supportive approach to help them navigate their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in Florida.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling setting is preferred.

• Proficiency in using EHR technologies and other relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience.
