Tax Director- Financial Services
A well established and growing firm is adding a Director to their Financial Services group- not due to people leaving but from promotions from within the firm. This firm is excited to bring in new talent to add to their team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build strong relationships with clients
- Provide high-level tax planning, structuring, and compliance
- Identify and provide solutions for tax risks
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and communicate as needed with clients
- Oversee the preparation and review of tax returns.
- Foster a culture of growth mindset and excellent client service
- Provide leadership and training to staff on technical tax issues and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field.
- CPA required.
- 10+ years of experience in tax
- Proven track record of developing and leading high-performing teams.
- A focus in the Financial Services niche
- Solid experience working with Private Equity and Hedge Funds.
