Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Active state RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI (completed during onboarding), NRP, TNCC preferred Must-Have: Previous charge experience is required. Patient ratio experience is 1:4, can be up to 5 with lower acuity. Description: The position is for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse. The role includes rotating night and evening shifts. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience. First-time travelers are accepted. The facility experiences a very fast-paced environment with multiple complex diagnoses. Patient age range includes all demographics from infants to geriatrics. Weekends and holidays are required as scheduled. Floating within the specialty and associated facilities may be needed. Charting experience with Epic is necessary. Certifications in ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, NRP, PALS, and TNCC are required or preferred. Skills in managing various medical conditions, IV administration, and emergency procedures are essential. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. The daily census is approximately 90 visits. The unit comprises 36 beds.
