Remote Family Law Legal Assistant

Position Title: Remote Family Law Legal Assistant Salary Range: $25-$40 / Hour, DOE We're seeking an experienced Family Law Legal Assistant to support a busy family law practice by keeping operations organized, attorneys prepared, and clients informed. This position plays a critical role in delivering exceptional client service while ensuring daily administrative and case management tasks are handled accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, tech-savvy, and enjoys supporting attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment while providing a high level of professionalism and customer service. Responsibilities Support attorneys with daily administrative and case management responsibilities Prepare retainer agreements, legal forms, and client documentation Upload, organize, and maintain electronic client files and records Schedule calls, manage client communications, and assist with intake inquiries Open and maintain secure client portals and process administrative requests Track attorney billable hours and enter payment information accurately Assist with receptionist duties and provide exceptional customer service when needed Requirements Minimum 5 years of Legal Assistant experience with at least 1 year in Family Law Strong understanding of California family law terminology and legal processes Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Outstanding communication and customer service skills Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and legal software Self-motivated with exceptional attention to detail and time management Mandarin, Cantonese, or another Chinese dialect is highly preferred Benefits Medical, dental and vision insurance Life insurance coverage 401(k) with 3% employer match after one year Flexible paid time off & 10 paid holidays each year Fully remote position working California business hours #J-18808-Ljbffr Remote Jobs
