Highlights Pay: $38.77 - $55.00/hour Location: Norwich, NY Facility: UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital Department/Unit: Intensive Care Unit Schedule: Day Rotational Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000 What You'll Do Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients. Educate patients and families in health promotion and disease management. Utilize a working knowledge of pharmacology and safely administer medications. Share responsibility for productivity and effective resource utilization. Comply with all nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, and UHS policies. Actively participate in and support the Nursing Shared Governance Model. Engage in professional development and complete all mandatory education requirements. Integrate nursing research and current evidence into practice. Provide a supportive learning environment for new employees and students. Perform duties related to the Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator role when assigned. Requirements Education: graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing preferred. Experience: previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting preferred. Licenses & Certifications: Current NYS RN License or Valid NYS Limited Permit to practice as a GN. Professional certification in a related nursing specialty preferred. Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned.
