Pride Health is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator to support our client's medical facility in Boston, MA 02215. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (Possibility of conversion or extension) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Summary: Radiology Support Coordinator/ Patient Care Coordinator to support daily operations within the Imaging Department. This role is responsible for managing patient scheduling, coordinating referrals, verifying insurance, maintaining imaging records, and ensuring a smooth patient experience while supporting radiologists and technologists.

Specific Duties:

• Schedule and coordinate patient imaging appointments while managing daily patient flow.
• Process referrals, verify insurance eligibility, and collect copays/deductibles.
• Perform patient check-in/check-out and maintain accurate demographic information.
• Monitor referral and scheduling work queues and conduct patient follow-up.
• Manage imaging records, image sharing, and maintain data in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
• Coordinate with providers, technologists, and outside facilities to support patient care.
• Process requests for image copies and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Communicate imaging results to referring providers as needed.
• Assist with staff training, provide cross-site support, and resolve patient concerns.
• Perform general administrative and departmental support duties.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with computers, keyboarding, and standard office applications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to handle confidential patient information while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
