Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our modern rehabilitation center in Fairfax, Virginia, where we serve a diverse community of patients seeking treatment for orthopedic injuries and mobility impairments. The facility is equipped with the latest rehabilitation technologies, creating an optimal setting for delivering effective physical therapy interventions. Your schedule will be structured from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a consistent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized patient care by conducting comprehensive assessments to create tailored treatment plans based on each patient's specific needs and therapeutic goals.
• Manage a reasonable caseload, ensuring extensive attention to detail and engagement with each patient during their sessions.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and exercise-based rehabilitation strategies to facilitate recovery and functional improvement.
• Implement cost-effective treatment modalities that emphasize non-surgical interventions, prioritizing patient well-being and autonomy.
• Develop and introduce customized fitness and wellness programs that promote patient engagement and adherence to rehabilitation protocols.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress using electronic medical records software, specifically WebPT.
• Continuously monitor patient outcomes, adjusting treatment methods as necessary to optimize results and enhance recovery pathways.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary health professionals to coordinate care effectively, ensuring a holistic approach to patient treatment.
• Foster a positive and motivating environment by encouraging patients throughout their therapeutic journey.
• Promote healthy lifestyles through education on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. By employing evidence-based techniques, you will help restore function and enhance mobility in adult and senior populations, contributing to meaningful recovery journeys. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, ensuring you have the advanced knowledge necessary to provide exceptional care.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with no history of sanctions or disciplinary proceedings.
• Proven expertise in various manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in exercise prescription.
• High proficiency in using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development, staying current with the latest evidence-based practices in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, particularly with sports-related injuries.
• Demonstrated skill in designing and implementing successful exercise programs for diverse patient populations.
• Possession of specialized certifications in manual therapy or sports rehabilitation is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
