Senior Accountant

South Charlotte, NC | Hybrid (4 Days In Office, 1 Day Remote)

Our client in South Charlotte is seeking a Senior Accountant to support accounting operations for a multi-site business. What You'll Do

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances
• Assist with financial reporting and management reporting packages
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis
• Partner with Branch and operational leaders to ensure accurate financial reporting across multiple locations
• Maintain balance sheet integrity and improve accounting processes and controls
• Assist with audit preparation and compliance requirements
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience working for a mid-sized organization
• Previous experience supporting multiple locations, Branches, divisions, or business units is required
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Experience managing month-end close responsibilities
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
