Customer Service Manager Full Time

These very important positions are our last chance to interact with our customers, so it's an opportunity to make them feel welcomed and satisfied that they chose to shop at Dorothy Lane Market. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated leader to join our Front End team. This position requires someone with cashier experience, excellent customer service skills, and leadership qualities to manage the day-to-day operations of our Front End. Hours for the position are full time, and require some evening shifts as well as weekend availability.

What You'll Do:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Front End department.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Be able to work proficiently in all roles of the department including cashiering, bagging, and Guest Services.
• Solve customer issues and inquiries in a timely fashion.
• Effectively delegate tasks in order to promote efficient operations.
• Build a strong team while demonstrating servant leadership.
• Serve as a positive role model for our Cashiers and Carry-outs.
• Oversee hiring, training, and development of department staff.
• Oversee scheduling for the Front End and collaborate with other departments when help is needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• A good working understanding of DLM's operations and a passion for our company culture.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Strong, proactive problem-solving skills.
• Strong phone etiquette and computer skills.
• Previous customer service and leadership experience.
• 18 years old or older.
• Holiday and weekend schedule availability.
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing for long periods of time.
• Lifting up to 40lbs.
