Residential Housing Supervisor

CN Guidance and Counseling Services, Inc

Job Definition Provide supervision to a team of residential staff delivering housing and services to people with psychiatric disabilities. Responsible for overall functioning of the program and ensuring compliance with agency policies, procedures, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Educational Requirements Minimum of an Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred in human services. Experience Required Minimum of two years in a residential program. Duties and Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of the assigned residential program and ensure services are delivered. Ensure compliance with program guidelines, protocols, policies, procedures, and regulations. Participate in recruitment, hiring, training, and evaluation of residential staff. Provide structured weekly supervision to full‑time staff and monthly supervision to part‑time staff. Develop staff schedules, submit to Program Manager, and update as needed. Ensure residents receive appropriate restorative, rehabilitative, and tenancy support services. Review Restorative Services weekly and submit Medicaid billing reports monthly. Oversee Medicaid billable activities and maintain current documentation. Manage medication monitoring procedures and review logs/EMAR daily. Maintain a clean, safe, homelike environment in collaboration with facilities and management teams. Ensure residents are treated with dignity, respect, and can actively participate in their treatment planning. Organize house meetings and provide supports and training to residents. Conduct intakes for potential residents with the admissions committee. Approve time‑off requests, time sheets, and travel expenses within 48 hours. Oversee program finances, including client distributions, petty cash, fee payments, check requests, and budgeting. Oversee recreational activities. Serve as liaison with outside service providers and advocate for residents’ needs. Ensure discharge planning activities for all residents. Maintain accurate client records in compliance with regulations and policy manuals. Provide crisis support and serve as on‑call supervisor on a rotating basis. Report incidents and accidents within 24 hours and complete required documentation. Participate in the utilization review process in conjunction with the QI department. Submit statistical, client, and program data to Program Manager and Director. Assume responsibilities of all staff roles when absent. Support data‑driven decision making in supervision. Implement quality improvement trainings and activities. Cultivate a culture of inclusion and adherence to safety protocols. Other duties as assigned.
