Project Geotechnical Engineer

Positions available in Laguna Hills, Riverside, or Los Angeles offices. Responsibilities Perform and develop scopes for field and office tasks (technical and non-technical) and independent analysis. Safely conduct field exploration, sampling, inspection, analysis, and technical support under supervision. Coordinate tasks and small projects with guidance and interaction by senior operations/technical staff. Prepare designs, reports, and calculations on complex projects for review. Qualifications & Skills 6 to 10 years of related experience, or 4 years related experience with a Master's, or 2 years related experience with a PhD. Registered Professional Engineer (PE) License. Strong analytical skills in soil and rock classification, slope stability analysis, earth retention systems, shallow and deep foundation design, materials testing and engineering, soil improvement techniques, and pavement design. Knowledge of infrastructure, drilling operations, and heavy civil project design and construction preferred. Positive work attitude and ability to work safely and efficiently managing multiple tasks. Ability to work independently or with a team in a multidisciplinary environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred. Willingness to travel, perform field work under inclement weather and physically demanding conditions. Ability to adhere to work assignments/schedules, be self‑motivated, organized, and detail oriented. Willingness to work additional hours beyond a standard 40‑hour week when needed.
