Work Environment

In this onsite role, you will work closely with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals in a positive and supportive environment. The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, fostering a work-life balance for our staff. Our outpatient office is designed to create a welcoming atmosphere for patients, facilitating efficient treatment sessions while maintaining a focus on rehabilitation and holistic health.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations using standardized tests and evaluation techniques to establish a baseline for treatment.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations, aligning with physician recommendations and patient goals.
• Utilize various physical therapy modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation to promote healing and functional recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure the highest level of care is maintained throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Provide education and instruction to patients and their families on self-management techniques and exercise regimens to enhance recovery at home.
• Act as a resource for other healthcare professionals, providing insights on rehabilitation strategies and patient care.
• Supervise the implementation of treatment plans by support personnel, ensuring compliance with treatment protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will be primarily on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will engage with a diverse population ranging from young athletes to older adults, each requiring personalized care to achieve their rehabilitation goals. Your expertise will be pivotal in guiding patients through their recovery journey, enhancing their mobility, strength, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Active and valid physical therapy licensure in the State of California.
• A minimum of three years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is required.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions or board decisions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and experience in developing exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.

Preferred Experience

Preferred candidates will exhibit a strong background in orthopedic physical rehabilitation, demonstrating advanced knowledge in techniques and methodologies relevant to patient care. Compensation and Benefits

The selected Physical Therapist can expect a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
