Work Environment

This position will be conducted onsite in patients' homes, providing a unique opportunity to deliver care in a familiar and comfortable environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, establishing baseline measures and identifying specific rehabilitation goals.
• Design and implement customized physical therapy treatment plans that may include manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and mobility aids.
• Utilize advanced modalities and equipment, such as electrical stimulation units and ultrasound therapy, to enhance patient recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about recovery strategies, including therapeutic exercises to perform at home, ergonomic adjustments, and lifestyle changes to prevent injury recurrence.
• Regularly assess progress and adjust rehabilitation plans as necessary, documenting all findings in a timely manner in our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training sessions, and conferences, while staying current with the latest orthopedic treatment techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Renew Physical Therapy, you will work predominantly with adult patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. This role includes working with patients who are addressing conditions such as post-operative knee and hip repair, fractures, tendonitis, and arthritis. Qualifications

• Earned a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Hold an active California state license to practice physical therapy.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in orthopedic physical therapy is required.
