Work Environment

This onsite position allows you to work closely with patients within the comforting setting of our home care facility. The clinic operates Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, fostering a professional yet supportive atmosphere that encourages collaboration and camaraderie among healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to understand each patient's specific needs, establishing clear goals and treatment objectives.
• Manage a scheduled caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused, individualized attention throughout each session.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that incorporate various intervention strategies, exercise protocols, and therapeutic modalities.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques effectively to relieve pain and enhance mobility, while fostering the patient's independence and self-management.
• Record detailed documentation of all patient interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Motivate and educate patients on their rehabilitation journey, emphasizing the importance of consistency in performing exercises and following care plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other therapists, to ensure holistic patient care and optimal recovery.
• Continually evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting plans as necessary to meet evolving patient needs.
• Engage in community outreach and education activities to promote physical health and wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, or chronic conditions affecting mobility. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, demonstrating a strong foundation in clinical knowledge and practice.
• Possession of a valid state license as a Physical Therapist with a clean professional record, free of disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities relevant to orthopedic care.
• Exceptional competence in developing and implementing exercise protocols adapted to diverse patient needs.
• Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly preferred, allowing for a smoother transition into our practice.
• A background in interdisciplinary collaboration will be advantageous for integrated patient care.
• Familiarity with the latest rehabilitation technologies and evidence-based practices in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
