The Muscle Care Orthopedic Clinic is seeking an experienced and passionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated rehabilitation team on a full-time basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a supportive environment focusing on the outpatient orthopedic population, where you will play a crucial role in helping patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life. This position is onsite at our Pomona, California, location and boasts a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 120,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients utilizing advanced assessment techniques to identify their goals, restrictions, and functional needs.
• Manage an effective caseload of approximately one patient per hour, ensuring personalized attention and quality care.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that integrate various therapeutic modalities and exercises aimed at restoring optimal function.
• Utilize hands-on manual therapy techniques to enhance treatment outcomes and facilitate patient rehabilitation.
• Evaluate and monitor treatment progress regularly, adjusting protocols as necessary to achieve desired results.
• Document all patient interactions and care details diligently in our EMR system, particularly using WebPT.
• Assess patient responses to treatments, educate patients on self-management strategies, and encourage adherence to prescribed exercises.
• Engage in health promotion activities that enhance patients' overall wellness, including designing personalized fitness programs.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare providers to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in physical therapy to continually enhance professional practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic specializes in treating a diverse array of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, arthritis, and chronic pain. You will work primarily with adult patients, helping them navigate their recovery journey through a personalized and empathetic approach. Your expertise will be vital in empowering patients to set and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; however, a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Possession of a valid and active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Unblemished professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong aptitude for manual therapy techniques.
• Excellent competency in developing and executing exercise protocols tailored to patient needs.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• A strong foundation in evidence-based clinical practices and treatment philosophies.
• Experience in community outreach or initiatives aimed at health education and wellness is an advantage.
