Contract Nurse ( LPN )

Overview Contract Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) sought to assist with covering open shifts at our facility. Responsibilities Take a patient’s temperature, blood pressure, and other vital statistics Perform basic nursing tasks such as changing a bandage or inserting a catheter Observe patients for changes in health, mood, and behavior and report concerns to an RN, Unit Manager, or Physician on duty Listen to patients and address their questions or concerns Prepare patients for care, describe procedures ordered by physicians, and address patient concerns or grievances Administer medications as prescribed by physicians Provide patients with immunizations as appropriate Collaborate with or mentor CNAs/NAes to deliver quality care Qualifications Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing and meeting applicable Federal and State licensure requirements Basic nursing competency skills Experience with electronic medical records and documentation Graduate of an accredited school of licensed practical nursing #J-18808-Ljbffr
