Job Details Specialty: Medical-Surgical Nursing Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Healthcare Setting: Rehabilitation hospital Shift: 12-hour nights Weekly Hours: 36 hours Contract Duration: 16 weeks Start Date: September 8, 2026 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,790-$1,880 Charting System: Epic Patient Ratio: 1:6-8 On-Call: Not required Weekends: Required per facility needs, every other weekend Float: May be required between units and nearby sister facilities Orientation: Provided prior to start Job Requirements Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience Travel nursing experience required Active Registered Nurse license required; compact RN license must be in hand at submission Current BLS certification required Experience with Epic charting required Strong background in Medical-Surgical nursing; neuro experience preferred Ability to work nights, every other weekend, and float as needed Ability to support patients with CVA, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and post-neurosurgical needs Responsibilities Deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to Medical-Surgical and rehabilitation patients Monitor patient status, assess changes, and respond promptly to clinical needs Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and facility protocols Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery, discharge planning, and continuity of care Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic Provide care for patients requiring isolation precautions, oxygen support, peripheral line management, and rapid response escalation when needed Adapt quickly to changing patient assignments and unit needs in a fast-paced healthcare environment Uphold professional standards while contributing to a supportive team culture Apply now to explore this Spokane, Washington travel nursing opportunity for experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurses.
