Job Details Position: NICU Registered Nurse Employment Type: Travel Nursing Setting: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Location: Nashville, TN 37203 Duration: 12 weeks Schedule: 12-hour night shifts Shifts Per Week: 3 Hours Per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,750-$1,840 Start Date: 9/7/2026 End Date: 11/30/2026 Schedule Notes: Rotating weekends and holidays required Floating: May float to comparable areas of high need Job Requirements At least 1 year of recent NICU experience required Active RN license required BLS certification required NRP certification required STABLE certification required Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced critical care environment Experience with neonatal documentation systems preferred Ability to maintain professionalism with required dress code and unit guidelines Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to neonatal patients in a 60-bed NICU Monitor and care for infants with a patient ratio of 2-3:1 Use Philips monitors and document care accurately in Meditech and Centricity Perinatal Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, effective patient outcomes Respond to changing patient needs in a busy, high-acuity neonatal care environment Follow unit policies, infection prevention practices, and patient safety standards Adapt to floating assignments within comparable areas of high need when required Why Apply for This NICU RN Travel Job?
