Job Summary: Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Front Office Agent, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable experiences for our guests from the moment they arrive. In this vital role, you will be the welcoming face of our hotel, delivering exceptional guest services and ensuring smooth front desk operations. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will set the tone for a positive stay, making every guest feel valued and cared for. Activities & Responsibilities: Process all guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and room change/late check-out requests. Secure payment; activate/reissue room keys. Ensure rates match market codes, document exceptions. Verify/adjust billing for guests. Communicate with appropriate staff when guests are waiting for an available room. Advise guest of messages. Clear departures in computer system. Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room status and guest concerns. File guest paperwork or documentation. Run and check daily reports, contingency lists, and credit card authorization reports. Supply guests with directions and information. Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns; follow up to ensure each has been met to guests' satisfaction. Arrange transportation for guests/visitors when directed by management. Count and secure bank at beginning and end of shift. Cash-guests' checks, process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, charges, and provide change. Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any reports of theft. Sale from marketplace, including alcohol. Perform any other duties as requested or assigned by management. Requirements: Equipment & Technology (examples in parentheses): Office equipment (copier, fax, scanner, label maker) Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) Marriott systems for sales, reservations and food and beverage (Lightspeed and Toast) Minimum Qualifications: Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED 2 years in customer service focused role Must be 18 years old, due to sale of alcoholic beverages TIPS alcohol certificate desirable. Ability to acquire upon hire. Preferred: Up to 2 years in Hotel Front Desk experience in limited or full-service property. Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and late nights. Property industry work experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance. Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Punctual and dependable Attention to detail and accuracy Multi-tasking Organizing and prioritizing Problem analysis and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and with others Professional integrity Ability to meet deadlines Work Environment: Indoor setting with reasonably high noise level Must be flexible to work a variable schedule 3pm- 11pm including, weekends and holidays (no set days) Frequent standing and walking up to 8 hours per shift Repetitive use of computer, keyboard, mouse, and phone Reading, comprehending, writing, performing calculations, communicating orally, reasoning and analyzing Use hands to finger, handle and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
