Research Associate II

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Research Associate II for an Onsite position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in Tucson, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role supports a team dedicated to building a healthier future by advancing science and ensuring access to necessary healthcare. As a part of a global leader in in-vitro diagnostics, you will focus on developing innovative solutions for decision-making throughout a person’s health journey. Responsibilities Conduct research, development, and manufacturing laboratory experimentation and other scientific activities Exercise technical expertise and discretion in the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments that contribute to project strategies Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses Present and discuss results of experiments within the department and project team Maintain a high level of professional expertise through familiarity with scientific literature Follow company policies and procedures for GMP, GLP, Design Control, and others as appropriate Maintain complete and accurate laboratory documentation and electronic files May act as a principal investigator in conducting own experiments Requirements Bachelor’s degree (Life Sciences preferred) 2-4 years of relevant post-college experience Candidates with a Master’s degree or Ph.D will not be considered for this role Pay range: up to $27.00 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.
