Registered Nurse Neuro Trauma

Hourly Wage Estimate : $36.50 - $53.25 / hour Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 available to eligible new hires. Job Summary As a Registered Nurse, you will provide patient‑centered care in the Neuroscience Trauma Unit, collaborating with physicians and the care team to deliver comprehensive, compassionate care and advocate for patients and families. Responsibilities Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status. Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care in the patient’s medical record. Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response. Provide outstanding care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving issues. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s condition, treatment plan, medications, potential side effects, and follow‑up measures, translating complex medical terminology into clear, understandable language. Qualifications Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse or an active multi‑state RN license. Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Graduate from an accredited nursing school. Acute‑care RN experience preferred.
