Key Account Executive (fully remote)

The fully-remote Key Account Executive is responsible for ensuring that sales volumes and profit targets are met for his/her territory by maximizing the value for all Company products. The Key Account Executive will be responsible for at least one major strategic Company account. Work will be out of his/her home in their assigned territory. Activities in this role include creating call reports, forecasting, budgeting, pricing, expense reporting, and activity planning. The position requires heavy travel (40% or so) and efficient use of office days to accomplish all required activities. The Key Account Executive will employ mastery at developing multi-disciplinary, multi-level relationships within customers to achieve sales objectives at maximum value return. The Key Account Executive will lead development of Account Representatives and Key Account Representatives through informal mentoring.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to work across Japanese-American cultural lines.Excellent interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently.Ability to set and achieve sales goals.Ability to follow up on all customer requests.Fast learner and flexible attitude.Skills in market research are a plus.Ability to use a PC with corresponding software packages as tools for the job.Good communication skills, combined with good organizational and project management skills.Ability to employ a sales philosophy based on product value.Strong problem-solving skills.Essential Functions:Prompt, regular, and dependable attendance is an essential function of this job.Manage accounts and set priorities (classify accounts and set programs accordingly) to accomplish sales volume and prices.Manage and monitor an expense budget (as determined by the National Sales Manager).Manage Company resources at each account (technical services, marketing, management, other).Forecast sales volumes and prices by account.Establish internal and external relationships at all levels of the organization to accomplish territory sales goals.Provide day-to-day information about sales directions, new applications, competitive activities, product requirements, pricing, new products, quality issues, and any other customer requirements.Coordinate account performance with the credit department.Uncover new opportunities for potential and buying accounts.Assist to resolve supply issues.Manage at least one strategic account.Qualifications:Minimum of a bachelors degree from an accredited university/college.Minimum of 5 years of refrigerant gas and relevant bulk chemical experience is required.Knowledge and sales experience of wet/dry etchant materials in a semiconductor environment is preferred.Knowledge and sales experience of fluoropolymer or fluoroelastomers business is welcomed in this commercial role.Must be in current position minimum of 6 months.Why is This a Great Opportunity:My client is THE global leader in the development and manufacturing of products in their multi-billion dollar segment of the chemical industry.Their plant in Decatur, AL, is their primary global R&D and manufacturing location.They have a strong/positive image in their workplace and in their community.There are realistic lateral and promotional opportunities at my client's plant and within their company.Salary Type Annual SalarySalary Min $ 96000Salary Max $ 120000Currency Type USDJ-18808-Ljbffr
