Job Description

Facilities & Grounds Maintenance Manager - Des Plaines, Illinois | 7am-3:30pm
Zing Recruiting has partnered with a successful area construction materials supplier to fill an onsite Facilities & Grounds Manager role. They seek a proactive and experienced candidate within a construction or industrial space to oversee and maintain grounds and building as well as all work that must be done at the site to maintain upkeep.

Qualifications include :

H.S. or GED
Degree a PLUS
2+ years experience overseeing facilities and grounds in a construction or industrial setting

Responsibilities include :

Oversee the maintenance, safety, and efficiency of buildings and infrastructure
Manage maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance programs
Manage projects related to construction, renovation, and facility improvements
Coordinate schedulng with vendors, contractors, and service providers
Develop project scopes, timelines, and budgets
Track project progress and adjust plans as needed
Prepare reports and communicate project status to leadership

Pay is based on experience. Potentially in the 65k-80k range, however, open to candidates with stronger experience.
