Production Associate / Fabricator - Industrial Sewing
Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Production Associate / Fabricator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Lorton, VA .
TEMP-TO-HIRE | GROWTH OPPORTUNITY
- Pay: $20–$23/hour
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Hours: 40+ hours/week (overtime available)
- Start Date: ASAP
Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Production Associate / Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role involves fabricating rigging and lifting products made from synthetic materials, steel cable, and chain assemblies used in industrial lifting and cargo securement applications.
Industrial sewing experience is a plus but not required. We are willing to train mechanically inclined candidates with a strong work ethic and manufacturing experience.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate rigging products and lifting assemblies
- Measure, cut, assemble, and inspect materials
- Operate production equipment safely and efficiently
- Read a tape measure and perform basic measurements
- Follow work instructions and production schedules
- Maintain quality standards and a safe work environment
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Follow all company safety procedures
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, or production experience preferred
- Industrial sewing experience is a plus , but not required
- Mechanically inclined with good hand dexterity
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable transportation
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, push, pull, and walk throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Able to lift and handle materials as needed
