Opportunity & Role Overview

We are initiating a strategic growth program focused on industrial frozen fruit and vegetable ingredients and are seeking a Senior Manager to lead both sales and sourcing across the U.S. market.

This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy and global supply execution, responsible for driving revenue growth while aligning imported sourcing capabilities to meet customer demand.

You will lead a high-impact, growth-oriented category, leveraging an established global sourcing and import infrastructure while building and expanding relationships with key food manufacturing customers.

Role focus:

• ~70% Sales & Business Development
• Driving growth through national accounts, new business development, and strategic customer relationships
• ~30% Sourcing & Supply Alignment
• Partnering with global suppliers and internal teams to ensure competitive, reliable supply and cost positioning

This role offers strong visibility with senior leadership and the opportunity to shape strategy, build capabilities, and drive long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead national sales strategy for industrial frozen fruits and vegetables
• Build relationships with food manufacturers, processors, co-packers, and ingredient buyers
• Identify and develop new business across prepared foods, sauces, beverages, frozen meals, and foodservice
• Align customer demand with global sourcing and import capabilities
• Provide expertise on ingredient applications, specifications, and cost optimization
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and long-term agreements
• Monitor market trends, crop conditions, and global trade dynamics
• Partner cross-functionally with sourcing, quality, logistics, and operations teams
• Represent the company in customer meetings and industry events

Qualifications

Required

• 10+ years of experience in industrial food sales, frozen foods, or ingredient sourcing
• Strong expertise in frozen fruits and/or vegetables for manufacturing applications
• Proven success managing and growing key or national accounts
• Deep understanding of food manufacturing, ingredient functionality, and pricing dynamics
• Experience with global sourcing, imports, and supplier coordination
• Ability to travel approximately 10%-15%

Preferred

• IQF product experience
• Existing relationships within food manufacturing or ingredient distribution
• Experience working with international suppliers and import logistics
• Familiarity with food safety and regulatory standards
