Job Title Registered Nurse – Telemetry / Neurology Location Spokane, WA Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days (3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Weekends required (every other weekend) Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit with a focus on neurological diagnoses and post-surgical neurology patients Utilize the NIH Stroke Scale to assess and monitor neurological status of patients Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:4, delivering safe and effective nursing care Float between units as needed within the facility or to nearby sister facilities Document all patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays as outlined in the contract agreement Required Qualifications Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission Minimum of 1 year of RN experience, with neurology experience required Proficiency with the NIH Stroke Scale Experience caring for post-surgical neurology patients and varied neurological diagnoses Proficiency with Epic charting system Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify under travel compliance guidelines Preferred Experience / Skills Experience working in a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma, or teaching hospital environment Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and high-acuity neurological patient populations Why Join Us Work at a large, well-established acute care facility with a Level II Trauma designation and a robust clinical environment No on-call requirements and no parking fees, allowing for a more predictable and cost-effective work experience Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 773407.
