In this Middle School LBS1 Special Education Teacher role, you will:

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement (EL endorsement preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Prior middle school teaching experience preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to support students with diverse learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement standards-based instruction tailored to IEP goals and accommodations
• Maintain accurate special education documentation within required timelines
• Track and use student data to guide effective interventions
• Work in partnership with general educators, support staff, and families
