Qualifications:

• Current and active LBS1 certification and Professional Educator License (PEL) for Illinois
• Experience supporting students in academic life skills/self-contained classrooms is strongly preferred
• Ability to work full-time hours, 37.5 per week, for the full school year (August–June)
• Passion for adapting instruction to individual student needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction within an academic life skills/self-contained classroom for 7–9 students
• Create individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and growth-oriented learning environment
• Maintain accurate and timely records to monitor student progress
