Required Skills:

• State medical license (MN license or IMLC) and eligibility to work in Minnesota
• Board certification in Oncology and Hematology
• Experience managing inpatient malignant medical oncology cases
• Proficiency in malignant and benign oncology procedures
• Comfort with hematology consults and complex inpatient care
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills to oversee Advanced Practice Providers
• Excellent documentation skills with same-day documentation expectations
• Ability to handle inpatient and outpatient consultations efficiently

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience working in a hospital setting with privileges at United Hospital, Abbott Northwestern, and Mercy Hospital
• Familiarity with inpatient oncology workflows and multidisciplinary coordination
• Experience supervising APPs and leading a medical oncology team
• Comfortable with or willing to manage overnight calls from home

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of an accredited Oncology and Hematology fellowship
• Minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience in medical oncology and hematology
• Prior hospital-based practice experience highly preferred

Other Requirements:

• Active privileges at United Hospital, Abbott Northwestern, and Mercy Hospital
• Licenses, certifications, and hospital credentialing completed within approximately 90 days
• Availability for an immediate start, ideally beginning July 13, 2026
• Capable of maintaining a flexible schedule including inpatient service, outpatient visits, and overnight call coverage (from home)
• Willingness to supervise clinical staff and participate in hospital-based rounds and consults
