Production Manager

Role Overview The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality production. This role drives operational excellence by aligning production activities with business objectives, optimizing productivity, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The position partners with cross‑functional teams to improve operational performance, manage resources effectively, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop production teams to achieve operational, quality, safety, and productivity objectives. Monitor production performance metrics and implement actions to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with quality standards, operational procedures, and environmental, health, and safety requirements. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and resources required to meet production goals. Optimize inventory management, implement process improvements, and support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations. Required Qualifications Associate degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or operations management. Strong knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and supply chain operations. Experience using systems and tools for production planning, inventory management, and operational analysis. Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills with the ability to lead cross‑functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field. Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks. Experience managing inventory optimization and production scheduling processes.
