ServiceNow ITOM Developer

Overview: About the Role: We're seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Developer to join our Atlanta team for a 6-month project focused on Event Management solutions. You'll be working on critical IT Operations Management initiatives that help streamline our infrastructure monitoring and incident response capabilities. What You'll Do:
- Configure and customize ServiceNow ITOM Event Management modules
- Design and implement event processing workflows and rules
- Integrate monitoring tools with ServiceNow for automated event correlation
- Develop custom applications and enhancements within ServiceNow platform
- Create and maintain event management dashboards and reporting
- Collaborate with IT operations teams to optimize event handling processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues and performance bottlenecks
- Document technical solutions and provide knowledge transfer
- 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITOM Event Management module
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript, Business Rules)
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and IT operations best practices
- Familiarity with monitoring tools integration (Nagios, Splunk, etc.)
- Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and web services
- ServiceNow certifications preferred (CSA, CIS-ITOM)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Work on enterprise-level ServiceNow implementations
- Collaborate with experienced IT operations professionals
