Role Description The Brand Representative role is a part-time, on-site position based in Cary, NC. In this role, the team member will welcome guests, provide attentive customer service, and ensure that each visitor has a positive and memorable store experience. Daily responsibilities include engaging guests to share brand stories and values, assisting with product selection, maintaining visual standards, and supporting fitting room and checkout processes. The Brand Representative will help create brand awareness through authentic interactions, consistent merchandising, and promoting current collections and initiatives. This role also involves working collaboratively with the store team, following operational procedures, and contributing to a clean, organized, and guest-focused environment. Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor to build genuine connections with guests. Demonstrated brand ambassadorship and brand awareness, with the ability to represent Altar’d State’s mission and values in all interactions. Customer service experience, including assisting guests, resolving concerns, and creating welcoming store experiences. Clear, professional communication skills, both verbal and written, to support teamwork and guest engagement. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require. Comfort with standing, walking, and light lifting in a retail environment throughout the shift. Prior retail or hospitality experience is beneficial but not required; a passion for fashion, community, and giving back is highly valued.
