Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $60.30

What You'll Do:

• Perform diagnostic echocardiograms and cardiac exams (2D, M-mode, Doppler) on adult and pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with hospital departments for scheduling and patient transport.
• Assist cardiologists during exam procedures, including preparing measurements and exchanging relevant information.
• Handle dictations, delivery, pickup, and distribution of reports efficiently.
• Respond to patient needs during exams and monitor changes in patient condition.
• Manage supplies, maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Log patient data and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and ensure equipment quality.
• Support emergency exam coverage as assigned.
• Stay current on advancements in echocardiography and seek guidance from cardiology colleagues.

What You Need:

• Required:
  • ARDMS/CCI registration or registry eligibility, or comparable national accreditation.
  • NM Echo Sonographer License.
  • BLS certification through AHA.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; 2-year allied health program preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, strong organizational skills, manual dexterity.
• Preferred:
  • 2+ years of echocardiography experience.
  • Experience working in high-pressure environments and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
