Park Maintenance Worker I Salary: $22.99 – $29.97 per hour. New to State candidates will be hired at the minimum salary of the classification or the minimum of the alternate range when applicable. Location: 7806 Folsom-Auburn Road, Folsom, CA 95630. Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Job Type: Permanent Intermittent. Application deadline: July 1, 2026. Responsibilities Perform trail maintenance, fence installation and repair, vegetation restoration, and erosion control. Serve as a lead worker or work as part of a team with Laborers, Senior Maintenance Aides, Maintenance Aides, Inmate Crews, Conservation Crews, or volunteers. Operate gators, 4x4 vehicles, and mechanized equipment. Maintain a uniform appearance that conforms to department standards. Participate in training and development assignments as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Valid California Class C driver’s license with all required endorsements and restrictions. Successful completion of a background investigation. Medical clearance prior to hire. Ability to operate mechanized equipment and lift required loads. Willingness to work outdoors in inclement weather (rain, mud, snow). Must meet the minimum qualifications listed in the Classification Specification.
